Eulogy given by Joy Coffee Mischas Great Aunt

Katie Called and asked me to give the eulogy of Mischa's Life, I prayed about it and this is what I feel like God gave me.

Mark 10:13-16
Some people brought thier little children to Jesus so that he could touch them, but his followers told them to stop. When Jesus saw this, he was upset and said to them, "let the little children come to me. Don't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to people who are like these children. I tell you the truth, you must accept the kingdom of God as if you were a little child or you will never enter it." Then Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

In the early hours of that Sunday Morning Mischa was gently lifted into the arms of Jesus and though our heavenly Father chose to share Mischa with us for only three short days our lives will forever be changed.
In Psalm 139:13-16 King David writes, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, youreyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
The lord knew Mischa and laved her before she was ever conceived. His hand was on her from the moment of her conception, and though her condition was a surprise to everyone here it was not a surprise for the Lord.
Jeremiah 29:11-12 says "For I know the plans I have for you' declares the Lord. ' Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."
The Father had a plan and a reason for allowing us to know Mischa for such a short time and though we may not ever know what the reason was, we can be certain that Mischa's purpose was completly and totally fulfilled in her three beautiful days here on earth.
Katie's prayer was that Mischa would feel her and Jeremy's love before she went home to be with Jesus and as I walked into the room and saw Katie rocker her and loving on her and Jeremy gently caressing her I knew Katie's prayer had been answered. There is no doubt that she felt every bit of love given, not only to her by her parents, but also by her grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as many of us stood in and around her hospital room on her birthday and sang praises to the Lord for giving us this precious gift. We stood around her room with people telling Baby Mischa to  say hello to Jesus for us and were telling her that she would get to see her Memaws, uncle and cousin when she got to heaven and I believe that Sunday morning when her spirit left her little body , Memaw Coffee and Memaw Pizzie took her little hand and were stnading right there with her as Mischa entered the throne room of our Lord.
1 Peter 1:6-7 says, " In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that you faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. "
So let us look on this time in our lives not as a tragic event but as a true blessing and rare glilmpse into heaven and rest in peace that our beautiful baby Mischa is with Jesus and will be there beside him when we too see his face.
